SUFFOLK COUNTY AND NASSAU COUNTY RECORDING INCREASE |

October 2008 We have been advised that both the Suffolk County and Nassau County Legislatures have adopted the recording fee increases that were passed by the New York State Legislature. All documents presented or re-presented for recording on or after October 4, 2008, in Nassau County and October 16, 2008, in Suffolk County will be subject to the new increase. All other documents collected for recording are affected by the increase at an average of $15.00 per document. Please call if further information is required. |

NEW PECONIC TRANSFER TAX FORM |

September 2008 The Peconic Bay Region Community Preservation Fund transfer tax form has been amended. The amended form must be used for all closings starting immediately.
